HANDLE^® - Holistic Approach to NeuroDevelopment and Learning Efficiency

HANDLE^® is a program designed to address neurological inefficiencies which may impact the ability to attend, learn from the environment, communicate, and interact with others. HANDLE assessment ranges from a brief screening to full evaluation with ongoing 6-month program reviews. Clients receive individualized movement-based activities designed to integrate brain functions based on his or her unique neurodevelopmental profile. The HANDLE program was validated in the Journal of Neuroimaging (July 2006) in which five adult brain-injured patients demonstrated physiological changes in brain function via SPECT scans. RDI^®

Relationship Development Intervention (RDI) is a family-based treatment program which systematically addresses the cognitive deficits of Autism Spectrum Disorders. Parents learn to promote their child's cognitive growth under the guidance of a certified consultant. The program is highly individualized to address each family’s needs. Several options for RDI^® program consultation are available: Introductory program, Relationship Development Assessment (RDA™), and an intensive RDI^® Lifestyle Immersion program. The RDI^® Program is the first intervention to demonstrate changes in diagnostic category using the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS).
